Fucking A

Suzan-Lori Parks is a playwright who’s poetry and dialogue have always spoken to me. I wanted the piece to feel like the dustbowl, but still within the post-apololypse dystopia that Parks’ intended. So rather than adhere strictly to a time or place, I took inspiration from the texture of the period, and gave myself permission to play with silhouette and form.
