William Shakespeare’s Star Wars
What if the King’s Men stumbled upon the script of the original Star Wars film? What if the Bard himself adapted it into iambic pentameter? This is a theoretical Costume Design for Ian Doescher’s charming playscript adaptation ‘William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope’. Doescher’s work is a fan work that cannot be physically produced but it’s a hilarious adaptation nonetheless. Conceptually I wanted to explore a fusion of traditional Elizabethan Fashion with the Star Wars aesthetic.
